CAN I SELL MY WORK AT AN INTERIOR ART EVENT?
Yes, absolutely! We take 0% commission.
IS THERE A FEE FOR PARTICIPATION?
Yes, in a way. There is a participation fee for our event. However, we know that it is not always possible for emerging artists to pay this fee. Instead, we encourage artists to sell tickets for the event to cover the participation fee. Tickets cost 10 - 15 euros in advance.
Participating Interiorart artists commit to selling 30 tickets for the event they are performing at. They can enlist their supporters and networks as sponsors. Once this is done, the costs of the show are fully covered. This not only contributes to the production costs, but also helps promote the event and ensures a diverse audience supporting the arts. This gives everyone involved more exposure.
We have developed an online system that makes it possible to crowdfund the participation fee. So technically you don't have to pay anything if you're willing to put in the work. Almost everyone has 20 friends, family members or colleagues who would support them to attend the show.
If you don't sell all the tickets, you simply pay the difference a week before the show and can then add additional guests to the list to make up for the amount paid.
WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO SELL TICKETS?
We know that this is not for everyone. Selling tickets takes dedication and work, just like starting a creative career. If it's not your thing, that's okay.
